RICHMOND, VA (June 19, 2025) — CarMax, Inc. (NYSE: KMX), the nation's largest retailer of used cars, is hosting an in-person hiring event for its new stand-alone reconditioning and auction center in New Kent County, Virginia. The event takes place Thursday, June 26, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at 16931 Eltham Rd., Barhamsville, VA 23181.
CarMax is currently hiring for 60 open positions that will staff the New Kent reconditioning and auction center when it opens in July. Roles include technicians, detailers, painters, supply associates, auction services associates, and more. Candidates may receive on-the-spot job offers, with some positions offering sign-on bonuses up to $7,500 depending on the role and experience.
