CARMAX BRINGS 65 NEW JOBS TO THE SAN ANTONIO AREA
Retailer Known for Hiring Outside the Auto Industry Accepting Applications
RICHMOND, Va. (January 21, 2008)-CarMax, Inc. (NYSE: KMX), the nation's largest retailer of used cars, is currently recruiting for approximately 65 job positions for the company’s new store in San Antonio, Texas. The new 13,868 square-foot superstore opens on March 7, 2008 at 11822 IH-35 North in the Live Oak area of San Antonio and is CarMax’s second store in San Antonio. Who is CarMax Hiring?
- CarMax is seeking applicants for full and part-time positions.
- Positions are for sales, buyers, business office, customer service, inventory and service technicians. Automotive experience is not necessary or required for most positions.
- Many CarMax associates have worked for other major retailers, such as Target, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Macy’s, The Gap and The Limited.
- Many CarMax associates have previous experience working in the restaurant industry, selling insurance or teaching school.
