CARMAX EXPERTS PROVIDE VEHICLE SUGGESTIONS FOR GAS PRICE-CONSCIOUS CONSUMERSRICHMOND, Va. (April 8, 2005)—At a time when gas prices continue to rise, CarMax, Inc. (NYSE: KMX), the nation's leading specialty retailer of used cars, is providing recommendations for gas price-conscious car shoppers. According to the American Automobile Association, the average gas price nationally is $2.404 per gallon for mid-grade gasoline. Car shoppers, who usually consider vehicle price and lifestyle when buying a car, might also want to consider the rising price of gas in their buying decision.
